DEPARTMENT PROFILE
The Department of General Engineering was started in the year 2005 with an intake of 180 students.During the year 2008-2009 the intake has increased to 420.
The Objectives of the Department:
To improve the general communication skills of students
To enable them perform well in placement activities
To communicate effectively in their respective fields of specialization
To improve the mathematical resoning skill
To improve their practical knowledge
Laboratories
The Department is equipped with different laboratories like
Physics lab, Chemistry lab, computer lab & workshop lab for first year students and English communication lab for second and third year students.
MERITS
- Three of our students got centum in Engineering chemistry-I in october 2008 examinations.
- The department has achieved 94 percent in Engineering Physics-I in october 2008 examinations.
- The department has achieved 99 percent in Communication English-I in october 2008 examinations.
